To ensure that all patients who need care can be served in a timely manner, Emory-Children’s Center requires a 24-hour cancellation for all appointments.

Emory-Children's Center

Emory-Children's Center, a not-for-profit organization, is a joint venture between Emory Healthcare and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Our faculty is actively involved with pediatric clinical care, teaching, research and child advocacy efforts in Georgia and throughout the Southeast.

  • Please note that at the Emory-Children’s Center of Forsyth, our endocrinology clinic occurs the second and fourth Thursday of each month and the diabetes clinic occurs the fourth Thursday of each month. For more information, call 404-778-2400.

  • Nina Ham, M.D., has joined the Emory-Children’s Center Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.  Dr. Ham also is an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine.

  • Sampath Prahalad, M.D., M.S., Chief, Division of Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology, was recently awarded the Henry Kunkel Young Investigator Award by the American College of Rheumatology. This award is given each year to a young physician scientist, age 45 or younger, who has made outstanding and promising independent contributions to basic or clinical research in the field of rheumatology.
